LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – It was a fourth-quarter comeback for the Huskers on Thursday as they took down the Illini 74-70 in a second-round matchup.

No. 10 seed Nebraska outscored No. 7 seed Illinois 25-14 in the final 10 minutes, led by Jessica Petrie, who scored 9 of her 11 points in the fourth.

But freshman Britt Prince was a big part in the Huskers’ upset win.

In just her second career postseason game, she dropped a team-high 17 points shooting 60% from the field.

The Huskers have now won four of their last five, improving to 21-10 overall, and will play in Friday’s quarterfinal vs. No. 2 seed UCLA.

Nebraska last played UCLA on Dec. 29 in Los Angeles, where the Bruins won 91-54.
