Red Way conducts inaugural flight to new destination
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Lincoln Airport conducted its inaugural Red Way flight to Nashville, Tennesse on Saturday.
The flight consisted of 107 passengers and is the first flight ever to leave Lincoln and travel to Nashville.
Passengers were greeted with special Red Way merchandise and a photo booth to celebrate the occasion.
The flight to Nashville joins trips to 6 other destinations as part of the new partnership with Red Way Airlines.
The day was a big step towards the growth of the airport and is something employees take great pride in.
LNK Director of Communications Rachel Barth expressed her excitement saying “it’s our first nonstop flight to Nashville, super excited for that. This flight has done really well, clearly people here like that destination and has been booking. I think we have over 100 people on this first flight. Again super exciting for the people of Lincoln and the state of Nebraska to have a nonstop flight to Nashville.”
