Repeat shoplifter hides chicken wings and leaves without paying, Nebraska police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A man who has two prior shoplifting convictions was arrested again Wednesday on suspicion of the same crime.

Longins Kouri concealed a bag of fresh chicken wings at a Grand Island store just before 7 p.m., then left without paying, police said.

When officers arrived near the Super Saver on West Second Street, they spotted him carrying the bag.

This is the third straight year that Kouri has been accused of shoplifting in Hall County, and he’s now facing a felony charge.
