Resident of Lincoln home found bullet hole in living room wall, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating after a shot was fired into a Lincoln home on Monday.

Around 10:40 p.m., officers responded to a home near 26th and J streets on a report of a weapons violation.

The 30-year-old victim arrived home and found a bullet hole in his living room wall, according to police.

Officers confirmed that there was a bullet hole on the east side of the home and found a bullet on the living room floor.

Nobody was home at the time of the shooting.  Police estimate the home had $200 in damage.
