Flood threat level remains high across central and eastern Nebraska

Governor Pete Ricketts will continue his survey of flooding damage with the Nebraska National Guard and other state agencies.
Ricketts has two visits planned, the first at a shelter in Fremont, then a community meeting in Niobrara.
A spokesman said the plans are subject to change.
As of Saturday morning, emergency declarations had been issued in 47 cities, 53 counties, and one tribal area, according to a status report by Nebraska Army National Guard Major General Daryl Bohac.
The report said the flood threat level remains high in central and eastern Nebraska, with significant flooding expected throughout the weekend and into next week.
This is a developing story, we will continue to provide updates as they become available.
