Roads around Holmes Lake to close Sunday

Sunday, Normal Boulevard between 56th St to 70th St. will be closed, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Cornhusker State Games Triathlon and Road Race.

Additional closures for the event include 70th between Normal and Pioneers Boulevard, westbound Pioneers between 70th and 56th St. and northbound 56th St. between Pioneers and Normal.

The park will remain open, but North Shore Drive will be closed until 10:30 a.m., and many trails will be used for the triathlon.
