Robbers armed with knives broke into a Nebraska home to steal a gun

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A group of robbers was quickly arrested after breaking into a Nebraska home on Tuesday.

That’s according to the Columbus Police Department, which says three people stole a gun around 11:20 a.m.

Authorities said the victim was easily able to identify everyone involved, along with their vehicle.

Officers found the vehicle and two of the robbers a short time later near Second Street and 17th Avenue.

The third suspect was inside another house, but officers got a search warrant and arrested them as well.

CPD said their names and specific charges will be released later.
