Rock hurling burglar leaves blood behind after breaking into business, police say
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A 61-year-old man is accused of breaking into a Lincoln business and leaving blood behind, after injuring himself in the process.
Lincoln Police say the owner of Sapphire Nails called the department Sunday morning and reported someone threw a rock through their door.
LPD tells us Kiki Williams stole cash from the register once inside the location near South 50th Street and South Cotner Boulevard.
According to police, Williams then tried breaking into a neighboring business as well, but he wasn’t successful the second time.
Police say they later found Williams at his apartment with lots of cash and an injured hand.
He’s charged with burglary and attempted burglary.
