Rollover accident sends two people to hospital

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A rollover accident was called in today around 4: 40 pm at Lewis Ave and Superior, just west of Superior and 14th Street.

Lincoln Fire and Rescue Battalion Chief Mark Majors told Channel 8 that two people were sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to the Battalion Chief, the accident involved three cars, it is not yet known who caused the accident or how fast the parties involved were going.

Crews on the scene had to use the jaws of life to remove the roof from one of the vehicles involved in order to get the driver out. The area is now cleared of all debris and traffic has resumed.
