Roofer dies after falling through skylight at Nebraska school

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A roofer fell through a skylight to his death Monday in eastern Nebraska.

The accident happened about 11 a.m. Monday at Gross Catholic High School in Bellevue.

Sander Gonzalez-Munoz was working on the roof of the school when he stepped onto a skylight, according to the Bellevue Police Department.

The skylight broke, and the 24-year-old fell more than 20 feet to the gym floor.

First responders found him in critical condition and attempted lifesaving measures, police said.

Gonzalez-Munoz was taken to a hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
