Rotary Club honors Nebraska women’s volleyball head coach

University of Nebraska women’s volleyball head coach John Cook was honored today at a Rotary Club lunch in.
Cook was named Nebraskan of the Year.
The award is given to someone who embodies traits like honest, integrity, and service to the community.
Cook was there to accept the award this afternoon, “It really means a lot and of course to be recognized as somebody that’s trying to do some good things in this state really means a lot to me and my family.”
Cook is in his 19th season as the Nebraska women’s volleyball head coach.
Previous winners of the award include Dr. Tom Osborne and former Nebraska governor Charles Thone
