Rough Riders donate to non-profit for people with disabilities

The Nebraska Rough Riders rode into Super Saver near 56th and Highway 2 to make a special donation this morning.
The group donated $2,000 to the Lincoln ARC. It’s a non profit organization for people with disabilities.
The group was outside the store raising money.
Once a year they head out to Kearney for a special conference, but not all members can make it due to the cost.
"I’m just very thankful to the rough riders for helping us get to Kearney. These individuals look very forward to getting out, seeing their friends in Kearney once a year, and going to the dance and staying up and partying all night long," said Michelle Johnson with the Lincoln ARC.
The Lincoln ARC hopes to take all their members to the conference this year thanks to the donation from the rough riders.
