LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Here’s a look at how some of the high school football teams in the Lincoln area fared on Friday night.

Lincoln Southeast 22, Lincoln Southwest 6: Cash Buettenback rushed for a pair of touchdowns in Channel 8’s Game of the Week as the Knights’ defense stymied the Silver Hawks.

Papillion-La Vista 34, Lincoln North Star 7: The Monarchs overcame two turnovers and flew past the Navigators.

Lincoln Pius X 35, Blair 28: The game started as a blowout but came down to the last play.

Seward 35, Waverly 21: The Bluejays took to the air to defeat the Vikings, with quarterback Tresten Hass throwing some big passes.

Gretna 52, Norris 45: After falling behind 28-0, the Titans rallied but came up short in their quest to slay the Dragons.

Lincoln Parkview Christian 58, Santee 33: Thomas Copeland was the star as the Patriots redeemed themselves from last week’s blowout loss.
