Home destroyed, multiple pets killed in northern Lancaster County fire
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A fire destroyed a trailer home in northern Lancaster County on Monday.
It was reported just before 4:30 p.m. near Northwest 12th Street and Waverly Road, just southeast of Raymond.
The fire started underneath the home and burned through the floor, according to Capt. Jeff Wienke with Raymond Volunteer Fire & Rescue.
The blaze was under control by 5:45 p.m., he said.
No one was injured, but Wienke said some pets died in the fire.
He said it was most likely an electrical fire, but the fire inspector is still investigating.
Crews from Ceresco and Malcolm also responded to the scene.
