Sarpy County deputies take kids shopping in Gretna

Gretna, Neb. (KMTV)
Monday night, dozens of children got to do some important shopping over the holidays.
In total, 74 kids joined Sarpy County deputies at the Grenta Wal-Mart to pick out gifts at the Shop with the Sheriff event.
Deputies worked with schools in the area to identify families who could use a little extra help this time of year.
“These kids love seeing our deputies in uniform and everyone has a great time,” Chief Deputy Greg London said.
Wal-Mart donated $8,000 for the shopping trips.
