South-central and southeast Nebraska will have the most favorable environment for severe weather on Saturday afternoon and evening. Lincoln, Beatrice and the Tri-cities are included in a Slight Risk of severe weather, meaning scattered severe storms will be possible.

All severe weather hazards will be possible for any storms we see this evening. A couple of tornadoes, ping-pong ball-sized hail and wind gusts up to 65 miles per hour will be possible in the strongest storms.

Many models have not handled the storms we are seeing this afternoon well, but here is one look at StormCast showing the chances for scattered showers and thunderstorms the rest of the evening.
