Saturday morning burglary reported at Goldenrod Pastries
Police officials say a burglary occurred at Goldenrod Pastries early Saturday morning.
LPD was dispatched to the pastry shop at 48th and Prescott Avenue at around 5:30 am.
According to police, an unknown person shattered one of the store’s glass doors with a rock before stealing a few items, including an iPad, and an undisclosed amount of money.
The shattered glass accounted for about $1,000 in damage to the store, officials with LPD say.
The investigation to locate the person responsible is still ongoing at this time.
