Rain in the forecast through Sunday afternoon
While low clouds dominated the sky on Saturday, rain was nowhere to be found during the daytime. That changed on Saturday evening when scattered storms developed across southeast Nebraska as an upper-level disturbance approached.
We’ll keep the chance for a stray storm in the forecast through Sunday morning along with plenty of clouds. Keep in mind that it likely won’t be raining at every point on Sunday morning. In fact, the better rain chance should be closer to Sunday afternoon. Temperatures on Sunday morning likely won’t drop below the upper-40s.
You’ll want to take the rain gear with you as you head out the door on Sunday morning. Showers should persist through the late afternoon as an area of low-pressure approaches.
High temperatures will likely top out in the low-50s during the mid-morning hours on Sunday, with temperatures steadily falling through Sunday afternoon.
Conditions dry out by Sunday night, setting us up for a dry Monday. Clouds will decrease on Monday, with highs in the middle-50s. We’ll remain dry until the middle part of next week as our next potential rainmaker approaches.
