Schuyler man identified as victim of Sunday morning fatal accident near Greenwood

The Nebraska State Patrol has identified the victim of a fatal accident that happened early Sunday morning. 

NSP says Inocente Perez-Sanchez, 46, of Schuyler was killed in a car-pedestrian accident near mile marker 423 on Interstate 80. 

The incident occurred at approximately 2:30 a.m. Sunday, September 23. 

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office says Perez-Sanchez  walked out in front of vehicle and was struck in a traffic lane.

Deputies are conducting a Coroner investigation.

The State Patrol is still investigating the accident.

Driver of the vehicle involved called 911 to report the incident.

There were no signs of alcohol use or impairment with the driver of the vehicle.
