Scott Frost headlines Chamber of Commerce lunch at PBA

At the 2019 Lincoln Chamber of Commerce annual lunch at the Pinnacle Bank Arena, the keynote speaker was Nebraska Head Football, Coach Scott Frost.

Coach Frost spoke to fans and supporters, about the potential future growth of the football program.

“At UCF I say this to our recruits a lot we got the 51st recruiting class and the 64th ranked recruiting class in the country and we want undefeated and beat Auburn. I can’t wait to see what our strength and conditioning staff and my staff can do with a top 20 recruiting classes if we develop them the right way,” Coach Scott Frost said.

As Scott Frost spoke to fans he didn’t just talk about the football program, he also told old stories about his playing days for Coach Tom Osborne.

“He hated turnovers and when I would throw an interception it would be Judas Priest, Scott what are you doing. That’s when I was young so I was kind of impressed by his knowledge of 80s metal bands,” Coach Frost said.

Coach Frost also thanked the Lincoln city officials, because they make it very easy for him to help get some key commits to the Huskers.

“It’s not easy to get recruits to our campus when we do every single one of them sits on the couch in my office and says the same thing. They say coach this is nothing I thought it was going to be like and they love it,” Frost said.
