The press conference came a morning of reports that the Big Ten Conference would cancel the upcoming football season.
Frost said UNL is committed to playing, and that he hopes the team can play a Big Ten schedule. He added there’s a possibility of playing games outside the conference.
“I think we’re prepared to look for other options,” he said.
Frost also is concerned with what would happen to his players if the season is indeed canceled.

Conference officials will reportedly meet Monday evening to make a final decision.
