LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A man was arrested early Monday morning after a rollover crash in Scottsbluff, police say.

Around 12:30 a.m., officers were sent to the single-vehicle crash near Beltline Highway and Overland Drive.

When officers arrived, they found an overturned Jeep Grand Cherokee in a ditch.

Police said the Jeep, driven by 23-year-old Diego Santoyo-Noriega, was heading east when it crashed into a guard rail and rolled over.

Two girls, who were in the car at the time of the crash, had left the area, but officers later found them nearby.

All three were taken to a local hospital, according to police.  The extent of their injuries is unknown.

After an investigation, officers arrested Santoyo-Noriega on suspicion of driving under the influence and DUI causing serious bodily injury.
