‘Sea of Red Sellout’: How you can be in the stands this Husker season

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — The roar of the crowd. A sea of red. It almost feels like a normal Husker Saturday- almost.

One notable difference is the flimsy fans in the stands, literally. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Big Ten Conference limited who could enter the stadium, but they still found a way to keep fans involved.

You can purchase a virtual ticket for the game and have a cardboard cut out of yourself put in the stands!

Want to secure a spot at Memorial Stadium this season? Check out “The Sea of Red Sellout,” where a single ticket costs $25. With that, fans will receive commemorative items for the 2020 season and be submitted into a weekly raffle.

According to the University of Nebraska- Lincoln, all proceeds will go to the athletics department to help support student-athletes.
