LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Crews responded to an ammonia leak Saturday at a west Lincoln manufacturing facility for the second time in a week.

The leak was reported shortly before 3 p.m. at Instinct’s freeze-dry plant near Southwest 32nd and West O streets. Instinct makes raw pet food.

A spokeswoman for Lincoln Fire & Rescue said it is an isolated leak and there is no threat to the public.

The hazardous materials unit is ventilating the building.

On Sunday, there was an ammonia leak at the same facility.
