Second annual Channel 8 School Supply Drive is underway in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Channel 8 is hosting its second annual school supply drive on Thursday.

You can stop by the station at 3240 S. 10th St. from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. to drop off school supply donations, which will benefit Lincoln Community Learning Centers.

Kids across the city need several items before the school year kicks off in August, including:

• Backpacks
• Notebooks
• Loose leaf paper
• Construction paper
• Pencils
• Colored Pencils
• Crayons
• Dry-erase markers
• Glue sticks
• Hand sanitizer
• Tissues
