Second annual Latino Lives music festival at The Bay

The second annual Latino Lives music festival at The Bay, on 21st and Y St., kicked off on Friday night.
The two-day festival showcased Latino bands and musicians from all over the Midwest.
They have a band coming in from as far as Michigan.
There will be rap, pop and rock music.
The festival’s organizer says it’s important to showcase all of these talented Latino musicians.
“To just have awareness that there are other cultures here, and there are people doing great things musically, creatively, there are people booking, there are people doing sound, you know, making bands… all that good stuff,” Aramara Quintos Tapia, the Latino Lives festival organizer, said.
If you want to catch some of the music, there will be several other musicians playing Saturday night starting at 6:00.
