Second Arrest Made In Beating

Another woman police say is dangerous is off the streets tonight.

A second arrest has been made in connection with the brutal beating of a Lincoln woman.

Now 2 of the possibly 10 woman involved in Sunday's beating are behind bars and police are hoping more will continue to follow.

29 year old Quanetta Campbell was arrested for her involvement in the beating of a Lincoln woman last Sunday.

Police have not released her mug shot.

The incident happened on 45th and 'M' when after a small accident 8 to 10 women followed the woman they hit and pulled her from the car and beat her leaving the victim with severe facial injuries.

Lincoln police say Campbell is the second arrest they've made in this case.

Her neice 22 year old Christina Campbell was also arrested Tuesday for her involvement.

Quanetta Campbell was arrested for 1st degree assalt, use of a fire arm to commit a felony, and aiding and abedding a felon.

She is also the registered driver of one of the cars involved.

Lincoln police say this is a very serious case and they hope the newest arrest will continue to lead them to the rest of the women.
