Semi driver from Lincoln dies in Minnesota crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Lincoln man was killed early Tuesday morning in a crash in Minnesota.

It happened about 12:45 a.m. on Minnesoata Highway 15 in Hutchinson, which is about 35 miles west of the Twin Cities metropolitan area.

A 67-year-old Lincoln man was driving a semitrailer and went off the highway at a curve in the road, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The semi rolled and hit a tree, killing the driver.

The patrol’s crash report said there was snow and/or ice on the road.

More information about the driver will be released late Wednesday, authorities said.
