Semi overturns on I-80 near York; eastbound lanes reopen
YORK, Neb. (KLKN) – A semitrailer truck overturned on eastbound Interstate 80 outside of York on Thursday evening.
The eastbound lanes of I-80 between York and Aurora closed about 5:30 p.m. They were reopened by 9:45 p.m.
A spokesman for the Nebraska State Patrol has not yet returned Channel 8’s request for comment on the crash.
The Nebraska Department of Transportation said there have been blown-over vehicles and crashes in multiple locations as winds top 70 mph and cause dust storms.
