Seven guns stolen from Lincoln home

A Lincoln man is missing seven guns after his home near 66th and Dudley street was broken into. 

It happened Monday evening. Police said the victim was returning home with his dog after it was found by Animal Control when he noticed a door to his home was broken. 

Once inside, police said the man discovered the glass door of his locked gun cabinet was broken, and a shotgun, rifle and three handguns were missing. 

Parts of his surveillance system were also taken. 

The loss is almost $3,000.
