Several cows killed in crash on Interstate 80 near Pleasant Dale

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Nebraska State Patrol responded to a crash on Interstate 80 Saturday night that killed several cows.
Just before 7:30 p.m., two vehicles driving east on I-80 collided near the Pleasant Dale exit, just west of Lincoln.
Troopers remain on scene of this crash on Eastbound I-80 just west of Lincoln. Thankfully no serious injuries were reported.

As a result of the crash, a semitrailer carrying cattle rolled, blocking traffic in both eastbound lanes.
Neither driver was injured in the crash, but many of the cattle did not survive.
The state patrol said the area took several hours to clean up, and both eastbound lanes of I-80 reopened at 4 a.m.
