Several Lincoln streets to close starting Tuesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Lincoln Transportation and Utilities Department on Thursday announced several street closures starting next week.

On Tuesday, Adams Street between 33rd and 36th streets will close for railroad track and pavement repairs. This work is scheduled to be completed by April 25.

Southbound 27th Street between A and B streets will also close on Tuesday at 8 p.m. for utility work by Lincoln Electric System.

That project will run through Wednesday at 6 a.m.

On Wednesday, Old Cheney Road from Highway 77 to Warlick Boulevard will close for Lancaster County Engineering bridge repairs.

That project will be completed by early June, according to LTU.

Starting April 25, L Street between 14th and 16th streets will close for private utility and crane work. This project is scheduled to be completed by April 27.
