Several officers respond to fight in central Lincoln neighborhood
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are looking for a man involved in a fight Tuesday night in a central Lincoln neighborhood.
Around 10:10 p.m., officers were sent to 27th and Randolph streets on a report of two men fighting.
The 32-year-old victim told investigators another man confronted him over an “incident” that occurred earlier in the day.
The man then pointed a gun at the victim, according to police. In self-defense, the victim pulled out a machete and the two tried disarming each other.
Police said they fell to the ground and kept fighting until a bystander separated them.
The man left the area before officers arrived. The victim suffered minor cuts to his face and the back of his head.
