Severe storms staying west of Lincoln Sunday night.
There is a slight (level 2 of 5) risk for severe weather in the panhandle of Nebraska. A marginal (level 1 of 5) risk stays within the western half of the state Sunday.
A severe thunderstorm watch issued until 9pm Sunday night.
The tornado risk stays low with these storms. A brief spin up could occur with some storms.
Hail up to golf ball size or greater could occur within these storms. Most storms will have quarter size hail or greater.
Damaging winds 50 mph or higher are the main concern.
Some isolated storms and showers look to roll through the Lincoln area by 11pm Sunday night. The severe risk for these storms are very small compared to Saturday. Some heavy downpours, thunder and lightning will be the story going into Sunday night.
Tuesday, rain chances start back up again going through Thursday evening. The rain moves out by Thursday and clears out the clouds. Temperatures in the mid 80s by Wednesday.
