As for storm timing this evening, a complex of storms will enter our viewing area between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. CDT this evening after tracking east across the panhandle and into southwest and central Nebraska. Storms may also develop in north central Nebraska and progress to the east.

Current model guidance suggests these storms will reach the Tri-Cities around 11 p.m. CDT with another group of mature storms situated across northeastern Nebraska.

07201am

Storms then reach the Capital City close to 1 a.m. CDT on Sunday. While better odds for severe weather exist in western Nebraska today, a few storms may still be severe as they reach eastern portions of the state.

This is an evolving situation; have multiple methods of receiving severe weather alerts this evening.
