Severe Winds Topple Canopy At Crete Gas Station

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A gas station in Crete sustained severe wind damage on Tuesday.

Around 3 p.m., the canopy over the gas pumps at the Stop N’ Shop tipped over, trapping a car underneath.

According to a Stop N’ Shop employee, there were no injuries caused by the collapse. The gas pumps were also not damaged.

The pumps at the gas station will remain closed until they can move the canopy.

There is no time frame for removing the canopy.
