Sevion Morrison enters transfer portal

The freshman running back announced on Twitter on Monday he is no longer with Nebraska football.

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Freshman running back Sevion Morrison announced on Twitter Monday afternoon is he entering the transfer portal.

The Tulsa, Oklahoma native played in seven games this season, rushing 30 times for 116 yards and three touchdowns.

“I love Sev,” Scott Frost said during his press conference on Monday. “Not everybody can play. This is the way college football is going to be. I’ll certainly bend over backwards to try and help anybody that’s been here and does things the right way. We’re going to lose some and we’re going to get some back. That’s the way it’s going to be every year.”
