Seward and Blair battle for every inch in close game

SEWARD, Neb. (KLKN) – Seward narrowly won 20-13 in a comeback victory over Blair on Friday.

The Bluejays got out to an early lead after a big run-after-catch from Kolton Loos.

That brought them close to the end zone, and Hayden Burhoop eventually converted to the first touchdown of the game.

But Seward’s momentum didn’t last long.

The Bears showed they were a competent team in their own right, tying things up at 7 with a goal-line rush from Brock Templar.

Then after a strong defensive effort from Blair to stop Seward’s next drive, they blocked the punt and returned it for a touchdown.

Blair missed the extra point but broke the tie, taking a 13-7 lead.

Little did Blair know those would be its last points of the game.

Seward slowly chipped away and eventually took home the win over Blair.
