A Seward restaurant is finding a creative and comical way to keep business alive amid the cornavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Sparetime Lounge & Grill is offering a free roll of toilet paper with every takeout and delivery order.
Owner Tom Rief told Channel 8 Eyewitness News that because of state mandates limiting restaurants to those services, he doesn’t have customers who need the toilet paper.
The business has 98 individually-wrapped rolls as of Thursday evening. Every order of at least $25 will earn the customer a roll (while supplies last).
Rief said business has dropped about 70% since the spread of COVID-19.
