Sheriffs find 1,000 pounds of pot in I-80 bust

The Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office found approximately 1,000 pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Wednesday morning on I-80 near mile marker 441. 

Officials say the street value of the drugs is about $5 million. 

David Price, 20, of Georgia, and Ronald Morton, 20, of Texas were arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.

A K-9 unit from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted during the stop.
