The bar was broken into, and cash was stolen from the gaming machines, according to the Gage County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators later landed on 44-year-old Levi Fralin of Beatrice as a suspect.

On Feb. 11, investigators served a search warrant at Fralin’s home, where they found several items used to commit the burglary, authorities said.

Investigators also seized several stolen credit cards.

An arrest warrant was issued for Fralin on March 7.

On Tuesday evening, a Beatrice Police officer took Fralin into custody after a short chase near 13th and Garfield streets.

Fralin was arrested on suspicion of several charges, including burglary, possession of burglar’s tools and criminal trespassing.

After the arrest, Fralin was found to have a small amount of methamphetamine and a hypodermic needle.
