Sheriff’s Office finds over $30K in cash during drug arrest
Last Friday, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LSO) found more than $30,000 stashed away during a drug arrest.
The LSO Criminal Interdiction Unit had stopped a 2018 Nissan Ultima with New Jersey plates driving down Interstate 80, near mile marker 388.
The driver was identified as 22-year-old Daniel Dahl, accompanied by one passenger, 23-year-old Ethan Harris.
Officers searched the vehicle and found a bottle of amphetamine pills, which neither had a prescription for.
During the search, Harris kept motioning down between his seat, where officers found a 9 mm handgun tucked away.
LSO found more than $32,000 dollars in the vehicle.
Both Dahl and Harris were arrested on multiple charges. Following their arrest, officers located a bottle of 16 Xanax pills hidden in Harris underwear.
