Sheriff’s office identifies Minnesota man killed in Seward County crash

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – The Seward County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man killed in a crash near Interstate 80 on Monday.

The crash happened around 3:50 p.m. on 238th Road, just north of the I-80 Milford exit.

A Toyota Sienna failed to yield to oncoming traffic and was hit by a southbound Chevy Silverado, the sheriff’s office said.

A passenger in the Toyota – 82-year-old Donald Amiot of Minnesota – was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Toyota’s driver was taken to a Lincoln hospital but is expected to survive.

The sheriff’s office said the driver of the Chevy was treated and released at the scene.
