Shickley woman killed in three vehicle accident
A Shickley woman is dead after a three vehicle accident.
It happened Monday on Highway 74 and County Road 8 about two miles outside of Shickley.
The Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office says a semi truck, tractor and car all collided, with the semi truck running into the back of the tractor then into the westbound lane of Highway 74 where it hit the car.
Officials say the vehicle was driven by Marjorie Dowdy, 83, of Shickley, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The tractor operator was flown to a Lincoln hospital.
The semi truck driver was also transported to the hospital.
