Shoe deal gone wrong: Man assaulted in North Lincoln
A 21-year-old male was found with injuries to the head after he agreed to buy someone's shoes.
LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – A 21-year-old man called police to the 2400 block of N 48th St. after an unknown person assaulted him with an object during a shoe sale.
Officers arrived at the scene Thursday morning and found the 21-year-old male with injuries to the head.
The victim agreed to buy shoes from the unknown man and someone assaulted him with an object while waiting for the man.
The victim remains hospitalized with significant head injuries that are non-life-threatening.
Officers are still investigating the scene of the crime and are waiting for more medical work to be done before they can interview the victim.
