Shooting in Lincoln neighborhood caused $6,000 in damage to two cars, police say

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Investigators are looking for the gunman who fired multiple shots in a Lincoln neighborhood late Friday night.

Around 10 p.m., several gunshots were heard in the area of 33rd and O streets.  But when officers arrived, they didn’t see any damage, police said.

The next morning, a person reported that two vehicles, which were parked at the same house, had been shot.

Officers later found 12 shell casings and two cars that had several bullet holes.

Police said both vehicles had about $3,000 in damage.
