LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — Black Friday and Cyber Monday are often hailed for their nation-wide sales and department store markdowns. But, an event that is more important than ever during the pandemic is Small Business Saturday.
Small Business Saturday is about supporting local, independent businesses and celebrating what they do for the community.
On how to best navigate local sales, the Better Business Bureau offers the following tips.
- Keep an eye out for special events happening in the area for small businesses.
- Sign-up for email alerts so you are the first to know about upcoming deals.
- Connect with businesses on social media. Sometimes small businesses will post exclusive sales on their social media accounts.
