Shotgun Found in Toss Box

The People’s City Mission recently found a shotgun in a Toss Box donation bin.
Pastor Tom says mission staff found the gun in the Toss Box earlier this month and reported it to Lincoln police right away, but LPD reported it this week.
The mission has recently seen garbage, mulch and furniture in and around the toss boxes.
Pastor Tom says, "It was old, rusted out, so it wasn’t unusable, but someone threw it away and they threw away an old BB gun and a pellet gun. Really, it was more trash."
Pastor Tom says they’re so thankful to be in a supportive community, but they’re afraid if some people continue dumping inappropriate items in their Toss Boxes more stores will have them removed from their parking lot.
