Shriners Doctors And Clowns Visit St. Elizabeth

Clowns and doctors from Minneapolis came to town today to brighten the mood at St. Elizabeth's hospital.
The Lincoln Shriners hosted the event.
The shriners offer free clinics for children younger than 18 with orthopedic needs.
Today, doctors treated 70 children and clowns helped entertain the patients.
Shriner, Steve Bruken said, “Today we're hosting what we call an outreach clinic one of our missions, our only mission, is to help take care of kids through our hospital systems and today we brought the hospital to Lincoln so that they don't have to travel to Minneapolis for their examinations.”
The shriners are also putting on a pancake feed fundraiser at 8 am tomorrow at the Shriners building on Saltillo Road.
