Slightly chilly and quiet on Monday
Following a warm front that brought temperatures into the 70s on Sunday, a cold front will return temperatures into the 60s on Monday. We stay dry for the start of the week, with our next best chances for showers and possible storms on Wednesday.
Across the state temperatures look to stay above freezing. Central and western Nebraska will see upper 30s, with SE parts in the lower 40s.
Monday overall will be slightly cooler than normal, many will see temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
We gradually warm up on Monday. We will have a chilly morning before temperatures in the upper 60s arrive. A light jacket might be needed throughout the day.
A mixture of 60s and 70s are forecast through Thursday. We are dry through Wednesday, with warmer temperatures, showers, and storms possible through the end of the week.
